As Head of Client Strategy at Helion B2B, you lead and scale a high-performing team of client strategists. Your team owns the strategic relationship with our clients and acts as the central driver of delivery—translating business objectives into scalable B2B growth engines.

You are accountable for strategic quality, client outcomes, and cross-functional alignment across Growth Strategy, HubSpot & Tech, Content, and Search & Social. This role combines deep B2B strategy expertise with strong people leadership, commercial acumen, and operational excellence.

You will represent your team in the leadership group and contribute to the strategic development of Helion B2B.

 

Core Responsibilities

People management: Cultivate a thriving team

  • Develop your team and equip them to become top-tier Client Strategists.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives, ensuring every team member understands their contributions to Helion B2B's overall OKRs.
  • Proactively identify and hire talent to scale the Client Strategist department in alignment with workload and business goals.
  • Make sure our culture and values are present at all times in our collaboration with each other and our clients.

Profitability: Drive revenue and build a commercially sustainable relationship

  • Ensure that we meet the revenue targets set for your department.
  • Partner with the Commercial Team to create compelling, tailored pitch materials and represent your team in solution discussions with clients.
  • Serve as a sponsor for complex client accounts and build trust with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

Product development: Innovate and ensure service excellence

  • Develop, refine, and optimize the strategic products we offer to ensure it meets current and future clients' needs.
  • Position Helion B2B as an industry leader by ensuring your team contributes to marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and best-practice sharing.
  • Implement structured delivery models to ensure consistent, scalable, and high-quality execution of strategic projects & services.

Operational excellence: 

  • Secure we deliver excellent project management to our clients and internal specialist teams.
  • Design and implement efficient workflows to improve collaboration across departments in our organization.
  • Take the Client Strategist role yourself on selected clients in our book of business
  • Manage capacity and resource planning to ensure timely delivery of client commitments.
  • Work closely with other department heads to align operations and share resources.

We expect you come from a management consulting background with solid experience in consulting on marketing & sales within B2B. You either have people management experience already or have passion and talent for growing other people and making them successful.
